Transportation in Singapore

Taxis in Singapore

Taxi’s in Singapore are above board and very well regulated.
You can use the official taxi’s (Blue, Yellow and Red cars) or of course, Uber, Grab and other such services.
Taxis are always by the meter, there is a Mobile App for standard taxi booking (“Comfort Delgro” on the app stores).
All taxis take cash and cards except Visa. If you have a MasterCard card, create a MasterPass account to travel cashless.

MRT in Singapore

The MRT is the easiest and cheapest way to get around Singapore alongside the bus.
An EZLink card works on both the MRT and the bus.

The MRT is larger than the tube in London, air conditioned and even though locals complain about it, it’s one of the best in the world!
